Why would you want to coach with me? What makes me different?
One of the main differences I hear from other doctors is that I tailor-make your coaching program just for you and your office. One of the things I pride myself in is as Michaelangelo saw David in the stone; I see your greatness in you.
My goal is not to make you a mini-me. Doctors tell me all the time that with other groups they felt like a square peg in a round hole. They felt like the company was just trying to "fit them into their prefab model."
I only coach a small group of doctors at any one time and I absolutely know what is going on with you, where you are, where you want to be and where you are on your path at all times. I take a personal interest in you, your desires and your success. Your success is my success and helping you fulfill your mission is my mission!
During our first hour coaching consultation I ask you dozens of questions to help us figure out exactly where you are, where you want to be and how to get there. No two doctors have the same program and no two doctors are coached the same. Time after time I have doctors tell me that for the first time no matter who they have coached with in the past, "If I just do the things we just outlined, I will have the success and practice of my dreams!"
I have studied self-actualization and human potential for well over a quarter of a century and one of my greatest strengths is to help you express your greatest potential. I don't care if you want to see three people per day or 300 people per day. I don't care if you want to practice a "straight adjusting model" or a "triad of health model." My goal is to help you rid your self of the B.S. or the belief systems that are limiting your growth and success. My goal is to help you clarify who you are, what you offer and how to communicate it with other human beings. To discover for yourself exactly what success means to YOU and to help you attract it to you with skill, grace and ease. My experience is if I can help you see the "why" behind the "how" the "how" becomes easy. In other words when trying to make change there are always two issues to deal with, the "why" or the headspace and the "how" or the procedure. More often than not the "why" is the biggest stumbling block. With many coaching programs the answer to the "why" is "because I say so!" When you coach with me you will never hear the words "because I say so." I will help you discover the "why" for yourself, I will help you get comfortable and feel congruent with why you are doing what you are doing and you will be amazed at how easy the "how" or the procedure becomes.
Not only do I have the coaching skills to help you attract the practice of your dreams but I have been out in the field and have had great success in my own practice. In the straight adjusting model I saw 125 people per day. The only thing that limited my numbers at the time was the technique I was using. One of my basic rules of thumb is we don't make any changes unless it leads to the same or better quality care for our patients. At the time there was no one using my technique seeing more people than I was, in fact the average doctor was seeing around 20 people per day! I also had great success in the triad of health model seeing up to 80 people per day again unheard of in that field.
I have gone from one hour consultation examinations and report of findings down to 6 minutes with a higher close rate. I went from 30 minute adjustments all the way down to two minute adjustments with a higher patient satisfaction and retention rate. I have been on the front lines, I know the headspace and procedural problems we all go through and I can hold your hand and walk you through the other side to great success and happiness.
One of my greatest claims to fame was when Hawaii lost our work comp and auto insurance we lost half of our doctors. I went from a 50% insurance practice seeing 80 people per day to a straight cash practice seeing 40 people per day over night. Within three months I was nearly 100% straight cash, and was seeing 125 people per day! In 14 years of practice I had to do very little marketing and was nearly all internal referral based! The little marketing I had to do was very successful and I have studied quite a bit of marketing since I have been coaching. The fact is to build a practice you do need to do external marketing but once you have the practice of your dreams you should be able to maintain that practice with your internal marketing and referrals.
Doctors tell me all the time that they are amazed how easy it is. The fact of the matter is once you clear up all the B.S. and you clear up the incongruencies by clarifying who you are, what you offer and you learn to communicate it, people just flock to you!
One of the main things I offer is the ability to teach patient care vs. patient scare. I would recommend going to "information" in the navigation bar, then to "articles" and read the article patient care vs. patient scare. Over the years I had always heard that concept but to this day I don't know anyone else who really teaches you how to treat your patients with the love and respect they deserve and empower them to make reasonable and logical choices. Most every script I read out there has some form of manipulation, coercion and uses fear and scare tactics to get people to do what you want them to do.
Not only do I teach patient care tactics but I absolutely help you experience the paradigm shift so you think in a different way, a way which allows you to be real with your patients, treat your patients with love and respect, and communicate in a way that empowers not controls your patients. Done in this manner you do not have to worry about "confrontational tolerance." Instead all you have to do is meet them where they are and speak your truth from you heart! Doesn't that sound great?
