Attract Success Vs. Chase Succes

Definitions

Attract success

a way of developing your self and your business to the point that others find it compelling and appealing

Chase success

working hard to convince, persuade, or impress others

Comparisons

requires self-development vs. requires hard work

Example: Ann developed her gift basket service by listening to clients’ concerns, offering novel baskets, and extra services. She also developed her relating skills so that she could manage her staff effectively and model a wonderful way of connecting with clients. Jan worked hard promoting her gift baskets. She spent so much time distributing fliers, making cold calls, and designing ads that she had little extra time to pick her clients’ brains or reinvent what she offered them.

Key Point: When you add enough value to others, you will be successful. When you seek to become successful by pulling one over on people or playing the numbers, you’ll find it much harder, more frustrating, and less fun.

Benefit: It’s fine to work to achieve success. But if you’re working so hard that you’re sacrificing your personal integrity or quality of life, it’s not really worth it.

Dr. Rosen’s Comments:

We’ve all heard the saying, "build it and they will come." I like to change that to "build YOU and they will come." So many chiropractors are out there playing the numbers games and chasing success. Consider taking the time to build your self. Study communications skills; take the L.A.A.S.R. your communications and Be Brilliant at the Basics Course. Take the Behavioral Analysis Courses and learn to communicate with your patients at a whole new level. Become an expert communicator, under promise and over deliver. These courses allow us to add tremendous value to our services, and to our clients.
