In my experience, the majority of doctors have not taken the necessary steps to become very clear about knowing who they are as a chiropractor and the gift they are to give in their practice. By identifying our gift and giving it we attract the type of practice we desire.
The "LAASR Mastery Course" is the beginning steps in getting clear about who we are and how we want to communicate what we know to our patients.
I look at our truths as diamonds in the rough. Our diamonds, our truths are buried deep beneath our belief systems that are borrowed from other people. I call B.S. for short.
The belief systems or BS are, "well my technique guru says I should only adjust this way," or "my management guru says I should only run my office this way."
Please don’t get me wrong, I absolutely honor what our technique and management guru’s teach. The point is one of the reasons they are so wildly successful is because they are living their truths. Of course we must listen and learn from others, but in the end we are responsible to discover our own truths, who we are and what it is we have to offer.
The layers of BS cover our truths. The courses I teach are about helping you to clear away this debris and reach your own truths. This process will reveal what is best for you, what you really believe about chiropractic and your abilities to deliver it. Also, how you really want to practice, etc.
My experience is that we must find our truths and then make sure that every thought, word, deed and action is congruent with these truths. This includes our paper work, our handouts, how our staff answers the phone etc. If we can get congruent with every interaction we have with our patients, we will attract the practice of our dreams.
We have all heard "build it and they will come" I like to shift that to "build you and they will come." You want your patients to start referring – then build you, become attractive, and they will come.
